Forum marketing discussions, joint venture (JV) offers, SEO, content writing, web design, graphic design, keyword research, administrative assistance and other online services are just few of the many things you’ll discover on Internet Marketing (IM) forums. If you are an internet marketer, it’s not new to you that Warrior Forum and BlackHatWorld are two of the most well-known IM forums. In this article, we will write our (iPresence Business Solutions) review for both forums based on our experiences through our memberships in both forum marketing sites and through the data we gathered when we compared and contrasted the statistics of both sites. This review will be supported by the results we got through Alexa.com as of June 11, 2013 at 10PM EDT. We will use a collective data from 2012 up to 2013 (as of June 2013).
These are the review parameters we will use:
- Traffic Rank
- Reach %
- Pageviews %
- Bounce %
- Time on Site
- Search %
Warrior Forum is two steps ahead of Black Hat World as far as PageRank is concerned. This was checked at www.prchecker.info/check_page_rank.php.
You’ll notice that on the last quarter of 2012 until 2013, both forum marketing sites have an almost similar trend when it comes to Traffic Rank. Both sites are experiencing a downward trend on traffic as this graph shows.
The Warrior Forum has a higher reach compared to the BlackHatWorld. But somewhere within the last quarter of 2012, you’ll see a significant ‘deep dive’ on the Warrior Forum’s Reach %. We’re seeing a downward trend on both sites for their Reach %.
There’s a downward trend on both forum marketing sites but the BlackHatWorld is somewhat on a steady-state as compared to the Warrior Forum’s downward trend since January 2013.
The Warrior Forum’s pageviews per user seems like a rocky road from 2012 to date although it’s showing a slight upward trend for June 2013. It seems that the BlackHatWorld is still trying to get the right amount of an upward momentum.
The BlackHatWorld has a better bounce rate compared to that of the Warrior Forum’s. Nonetheless, both forum marketing sites are tracking the upward trend on bounce rate.
Time on Site
Little by little, visitors of both forums might be seeing, again, something interesting in both forums that’s why the visitors’ average time on site is slowly increasing.
The BlackHatWorld has appeared to be more ‘search-able’ and ‘referred by’ search engine result pages (SERPs).
While the Warrior Forum has a Help Desk Department in place, it seems that the decisions made by their Help Desk Department are based on the decisions of senior moderators. On the other hand, the BlackHatWorld has a ShitList section where the complainant and the accused are given an avenue to explain and justify themselves before a moderator. In Warrior Forum, there’s no room like the BlackHatWorld’s ShitList where the accused can justify the complainant’s claim. Nevertheless, we can still stay that moderators from both forum marketing sites have the ‘heart’ and intent to listen to their members’ concerns.
Now, who do you think is better: BlackHatWorld or Warrior Forum? Please comment below.
